Is highly interactive and utilizes case examples of Latine youth, small group discussions, and role plays
Incorporates a wide variety of treatment resources and interventions in English and Spanish and cultural and developmental factors that impact treatment, with an emphasis on working with Latine children and families

Consultation is available to help supervisors and/or agency leaders assess and address STS in their organizations and among themselves and their staff

Consultation for organizational leaders on using the STS Blueprint: A Guide to Addressing Secondary Traumatic Stress in Children’s Advocacy Centers
Comprehensive STS-informed organizational assessment
Working with leadership and staff to develop an organizational plan to address STS
Developing tailored STS training for all levels of staff to meet their self-identified STS needs
Pilot STS Training with leaders and supervisors
Coaching leaders and supervisors to implement STS training with staff

Child Welfare Trauma Training Toolkit Training and Consultation
The Child Welfare Trauma Training Toolkit (CWTTT) is a National Child Traumatic Stress Network training series designed to support the infusion of trauma-informed knowledge and skills into child welfare organizational cultures. This toolkit contains targeted training for various levels and roles, resulting in positive sustainable changes in the policies, programs, and practices which lead to better outcomes for children, youth and families.
Alison is co-author of the CWTTT and wrote the guide for virtual delivery of the CWTTT.
CWTTT Training incorporates:
Half-day Trauma 101 training for all staff (in person or virtual)
Includes types of trauma, developmental impact of trauma, and resilience
Half-day Trauma-Informed Child Welfare 101 training for all staff (in person or virtual)
Provides in introduction to the Essential Elements of a Trauma-Informed Child Welfare System
Full-day or two half-day Trauma-Informed Child Welfare training for workers and supervisors (in-person or virtual)
Integrates practice strategies for implementing the Essential Elements of a Trauma-Informed Child Welfare System
Includes case examples, videos, group discussions, and opportunities to apply trauma-informed strategies into child welfare practice
Monthly follow-up consultation for supervisors
Consultation is focused on maximizing physical and psychological safety of children, youth, and families and addressing primary and secondary traumatic stress in workers
